Perennial herb, prostrate with silvery stellate and lepidote indumentum. Leaves distichous; blades flabellate to triangular, marginally costate, palmately and/or pedately nerved, asymmetrical; stipule subulate, 3-5 mm long. Flowers axillary, solitary, long-petiolate. Epicalyx absent or 3-parted, inconspicuous. Calyx lobes ovate or cordate, with (0-)1-3(-7) costae per lobe, c. half divided. Corolla yellow or pale rose. Staminal column included, antheriferous at apex. Styles 7-10, stigmas capitate. Fruits schizocarpic. Mericarps 7-10, indehiscent, unornamented, single-celled, single-seeded. Endoglossum absent.
